Michael W. Toth is the owner and lead investigator of Elite Investigations in Billings, Montana. A licensed private investigator and former law enforcement professional with more than 35 years of combined investigative experience, Michael served as a deputy sheriff in Montana, a patrol officer and detective in the Seattle area, and later as the Sheriff of Mineral County, Montana. Since transitioning to private investigations, he has specialized in criminal defense investigations, civil litigation support, surveillance, fraud investigations, background investigations, and complex locate cases. Michael is also the founder and president of the Montana Association of Licensed Investigators (MTALI), dedicated to advancing professionalism, ethics, education, and collaboration within Montana's investigative community.
